PhD Student (March 2019 – June 2022)
Soh Yee Chang, is a PhD candidate from Monash University Malaysia. She received her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, with first-class honours. After graduation, she worked as a clinical pharmacist at a Malaysian public hospital for three years. She led the oncology pharmacy team and set up the pharmacist-managed HIV/AIDS clinic during her clinical service. In 2009, Yee Chang completed a Master in Clinical Pharmacy and worked at a public university as a clinical pharmacy lecturer for nine years. She is also an American Pharmacist Association certified pharmacotherapy specialist (BCPS) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certified clinical researcher.Her doctoral project examines the different methods for assessing dietary sodium intake among adults with elevated blood pressure in community setting. This is done using a community-based salt reduction intervention trial, Dementia Prevention and Enhanced Care-Nutrition (DePEC-Nutrition) as a case study.
